Headteacher's Welcome
At Archway School, our vision is to be a welcoming, inclusive school at the heart of the community, where every student is encouraged to Aspire, Achieve, and Enjoy.
We believe strong, trusting relationships are the foundation of great education, fostering mutual respect and a sense of pride and belonging for all. Our relational practice approach places student wellbeing at the centre, creating a safe and supportive environment where young people of all backgrounds can thrive, and our comprehensive status ensures a broad, balanced curriculum with equal opportunities for every learner.
Through a clear focus on academic progress and outcomes, enriched by a wide range of extra-curricular activities, we equip all students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to move successfully to the next stage of their education, careers, and lives. We are proud to offer a complete seven-year journey at Archway School, culminating in an advancing Sixth Form that builds on our teachers’ expert subject knowledge. Archway is the only comprehensive school in the area with a Sixth Form, offering a wide range of A-Level and BTEC courses.
Above all, we are committed to helping every student grow into a happy, fulfilled, and productive member of their community and the wider world.
