Bags of Help
I am really pleased to announce that Archway School’s bid to have its careers library chosen to be one of organisations supported by Tesco’s “Bags of Help” scheme has been accepted.
The aim of the Archway careers department is to prepare our students for the world of work and a well stocked careers library will enable students to explore the full range of careers open to them.
Bags of Help is Tesco’s local community grant scheme where the money raised from the bag charge is used to fund thousands of local projects in communities right across the UK. It is great news that Archway’s bid has been chosen along with two other local projects in our area. Tesco customers will decide the outcome by voting for their favourite of the three projects each time they shop and that is where I need your help as I can only shop at Tesco’s so many times in two months!
I am asking all students, parents/carers and staff to please vote for Archway’s careers library each time they visit Tesco in Stroud, Paganhill, Cam, Nailsworth and Bussage in July and August. You'll be given a blue token when you buy your shopping that you can use to make your choice by using the voting units in store (these are located by the customer service desk on your way out of the store). Voting will take place from Saturday 1st July to Thursday 31st August 2017.
Please help our bid be successful - all funds raised will go towards updating and restocking of the Archway careers library. Huge thank you, Virginia Martin (Careers Coordinator).
