Archway School

Year 12 Work Experience at Stroud General Hospital

Stroud General Hospital organised an incredibly informative work experience day for 15 Year 12 students from Archway as part of Year 12 work experience week.

Not only did students get a tour of the hospital and a course in basic life saving skills, they also gained understanding of what Stroud Hospital is doing to assist elderly patients recovery, especially those with dementia. However I am in no doubt that the piece de resistance as far as the students were concerned was having the opportunity to put each others’ arms in a plaster casts!

A  huge thank you to all the staff at Stroud General Hospital who generously gave up so much of their time.
