Archway School

Visit from David Drew MP

On 25 May, David Drew MP visited Archway to talk to our Scholars Programme students, both current and past,  to find out from them what topics they had been studying and how being part of the Brilliant Club has given them some thought about going to university.

Through the Scholars Programme, The Brilliant Club places doctoral and post-doctoral researchers in schools to deliver university-style tutorials based on their own research to small groups of students. Our students have studied ‘Doesn’t ring a Bell? Models, memory and more’ and ‘Engineering; Illuminating the body’ this academic year.  David Drew was really impressed by this programme and the complex and challenging topics which the students have had the opportunity to engage in.
