Sixth Form Super-Curricular Trip
Saturday 24th November saw our first ever ‘Super-Curricular’ trip take place.
With the vision of allowing our Year 12 and 13s the opportunity to see and think ‘outside the box’, Mr Redman, Mrs Pomeroy, Mr Belford and Ms Tolman accompanied the students to London. Students were able to choose to go to any museum from the Natural History, Science, V and A, the National Portrait Gallery to the National Gallery. Our students spent 5 hours within the museums expanding their knowledge around their subjects, looking for links to the wider world and referencing experts.
The trip was an invaluable insight to the broader dimensions of what they study in the classroom and inspired the students to seek out what is outside the realms of a book.
We look forward to the next trip!
