Archway Receives Quality Lead Award
At the South West Region Annual Conference on the 10th March, held at the University of the West of England, Archway School was awarded Quality Lead. The award was presented by the author Bob Turney on behalf of the Achievement for All Charity.
Achievement for All is an evidence based, two-year improvement programme that supports schools to improve outcomes for vulnerable and disadvantaged students, including those from low income families, those identified with special educational needs, and looked-after children.
Archway School’s data shows that the students involved in the programme are making better progress than their peers nationally. Their attendance and behaviour are also improving.
There are approximately 2,300 schools taking part in the programme. Only 12 schools nationally have been awarded Quality mark. Archway is the first secondary school in Gloucestershire to achieve this award.
