    12 Year 9 students took part in the Brilliant Club programme where they worked with a PhD student, taking part in weekly tutorials, and then writing a 1500 word essay which was marked to degree standard.

    Year 7 students had the great opportunity to visit the Explorer Dome for a trip across the universe, as well as solving crimes using scientific forensic techniques in Science, using questioning at the crime scene in Modern Foreign Languages and role play and interview evidence in Drama.
