Monday to Friday: 8.40am – 4pm
Homework Club: 3:05pm – 4pm

Library facilities

  • Wide range of fiction and non-fiction for all ages and abilities.
  • Thirteen computers available for loan at break, lunchtimes and after school for homework and study.
  • Board games available at break and lunchtime.
  • A careers/quiet room for sixth-form student use.
  • DVDs and audiobooks available for overnight loan.
  • Magazines and newspapers.
  • Mrs Locke and Mrs Walton are happy to give advice and assistance in finding the right book or information.

Borrowing items

Book loans are for 3 weeks
Students in years 7-10 can borrow up to 3 items at a time
Students in year 11 can borrow up to 6 items at a time
Students in years 12 and 13 can borrow up to 10 items at a time

Returns

Books must be checked out and returned at the library desk.

Library portal

The library catalogue can be accessed from any computer in school and can be used to find new books, resources, etc.
